Third-Party AI Provider means a third-party service that processes user inputs to generate AI responses or AI-generated images. This includes providers such as OpenAI used for chat and image generation functionality.

Usage Data refers to data collected automatically, either generated by the use of the Service or from the Service infrastructure itself (for example, crash logs, diagnostics, device identifiers, and technical telemetry).

User-Generated Content means content You create, submit, upload or transmit through the Service, including prompts, questions, messages, study notes, images, documents, files, and attachments.

You means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company, or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable.

1) Personal Data (Information You Provide)

While using Our Service, We may ask You to provide Us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify You. Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to:

Note: Some fields may be optional depending on the feature (for example, address may only be requested if required for a specific service or verification flow).

2) User-Generated Content (Prompts, Chats, Notes, Files, Images)

While using the Service, You may create or upload User-Generated Content, such as:

  • Chat messages, prompts, study questions, and responses
  • Notes or learning content you create in the app
  • Uploaded documents (e.g., PDFs, notes, files)
  • Uploaded images/photos (e.g., pictures of notes, assignments)
  • Image generation prompts and any inputs you submit for image creation

Important: Because the Service includes AI functionality, some User-Generated Content may be transmitted to Third-Party AI Providers (such as OpenAI) to generate responses or images. More details are provided in the AI Processing and Third-Party AI Providers section below.

3) Usage Data (Collected Automatically)

Usage Data is collected automatically when using the Service.

Usage Data may include information such as:

  • Your Device's Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address)
  • Device type, model, and operating system version
  • Application version and build information
  • Time and date of use and feature usage events
  • Crash logs and diagnostic data
  • Unique device identifiers and other technical identifiers
  • Performance data (e.g., app load time, error events)

When You access the Service by or through a mobile device, We may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to:

  • The type of mobile device You use
  • Your mobile device unique ID
  • The IP address of Your mobile device
  • Your mobile operating system
  • The type of mobile Internet browser You use (if relevant)
  • Unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data

Information Collected while Using the Application

While using Our Application, in order to provide features of Our Application, We may collect, with Your prior permission (where required by your device settings and applicable law):

  • Pictures and other information from your Device's camera and photo library
  • Uploaded files and documents you choose to submit
  • Content you type or upload to use AI features (e.g., chat prompts, image prompts)

We use this information to provide features of Our Service, to improve and customize Our Service, and to support AI functionality. The information may be uploaded to the Company's servers and/or a Service Provider's server, or it may be stored on Your device.

You can enable or disable access to photos/camera at any time through Your Device settings. If You disable access, some features (such as uploading images or documents) may not function.


AI Processing and Third-Party AI Providers (OpenAI)

Our Application provides AI-powered study assistance features, including chat-based learning help and AI image generation.

When You submit prompts, questions, documents, or images within the Application, this information may be processed by trusted Third-Party AI Providers (such as OpenAI) to generate outputs, including:

  • AI responses to your questions
  • Summaries of your uploaded documents
  • Explanations or learning assistance based on your inputs
  • AI-generated images (based on your prompt and/or uploaded reference content, where applicable)

What we may send to AI providers

  • Text you enter (questions, prompts, chat messages)
  • Uploaded documents or images you submit for processing
  • Context needed to complete the request (for example: recent chat history, if the feature requires it)

Why we send this data

  • To provide the core functionality you requested (AI chat replies or image generation)

Data minimisation

  • We aim to send only the minimum content necessary to deliver the requested AI feature.

No sale of your data

  • We do not sell your Personal Data or User-Generated Content.

Important note about accuracy

  • AI outputs are provided for educational assistance and may not always be accurate, complete, or suitable for every purpose. You should verify important information independently.

Use of Your Personal Data

The Company may use Personal Data for the following purposes:

  1. To provide and maintain our Service, including to monitor the usage of our Service and to operate app features (including AI features).
  2. To manage Your Account, including registration, authentication, and account support.
  3. To verify user identity and secure accounts, including using Your phone number to send a One-Time Password (OTP) for verification and to help prevent misuse.
  4. For the performance of a contract, including purchases, subscriptions, or services You have purchased through the Service.
  5. To contact You, including by email, telephone calls, SMS (including OTP), push notifications, or other equivalent forms of electronic communication regarding updates, security alerts, and account-related messages.
  6. To provide You with service-related information, such as important updates, changes to features, and security notices.
  7. To manage Your requests, including customer support and responding to enquiries.
  8. For analytics and service improvement, such as diagnosing crashes, fixing bugs, improving performance, and understanding feature usage trends (in aggregated form where possible).
  9. For business transfers, if we evaluate or conduct a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, or other sale/transfer of some or all assets.
  10. For legal and compliance purposes, including enforcing terms, preventing abuse, and complying with applicable laws.

Sharing and Disclosure of Your Personal Data

1) With Service Providers

We may share Your Personal Data and/or User-Generated Content with trusted Service Providers who help us operate the Service. These may include:

  • Cloud hosting/storage providers (to host our systems and store user history)

Service Providers are only permitted to use Your information to perform services on our behalf and are required to protect it.

2) For Business Transfers

3) With Affiliates

We may share Your information with business partners only where necessary to provide a feature you requested, and/or with Your consent. We do not share User-Generated Content for advertising purposes.

If the Service includes public areas or sharing features (if enabled by you), content you choose to share may be visible to other users. If you do not share content publicly, your private study content remains private within your account.

6) With Your Consent

We may disclose Your personal information for any other purpose with Your consent.

7) Legal Requirements

We may disclose Your Personal Data if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.

Retention of Your Personal Data

The Company will retain Your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy.

  • Account data is retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter as needed for legal, security, and operational purposes.
  • User-Generated Content and history (including chat history and uploads) may be stored to allow you to access your previous interactions and improve your experience.
  • Usage Data (crash logs/diagnostics) is generally retained for a shorter period unless needed for security, legal compliance, or ongoing debugging.

We may retain certain information longer if required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, or protect the safety and security of users and the Service.

Transfer of Your Personal Data

Your information, including Personal Data, is processed at the Company's operating offices and in any other places where the parties involved in the processing are located.

This means that Your information may be transferred to - and maintained on - computers located outside of Your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where data protection laws may differ.
